Grain Accumulation Manager
A position has become available for an experienced grain buyer in Narrogin in Western Australia. Narrogin is located 190kms SE of Perth in the Upper Great Southern Region of Western Australia. The successful applicant is responsible for maximizing the accumulation of grains into the Narrogin facility , providing a high level of customer service to existing growers and developing new grower relationships. To be considered for this position you must have agricultural experience with grains, be able to liaise with both growers and contractors, actively promote the accumulation products and services offered by the company. You must also be able to promote close grower relationships through regular visits, attendance at local industry Meetings and other industry functions.
Selection criteria - Business acumen to monitor and manage costs and budgets - Excellent interpersonal and communication skills - Vigilance to changes in markets and competitors. - Strong relationships with key players in the grain trading industry. - Sound knowledge and understanding of grain purchase contracts. - Computer skills - Logistics knowledge - Licence (C) - Tertiary certificates or experience in Agribusiness, business or finance.

Grain Site Manager/Supervisor
An opportunity exists for an enthusiastic, innovative, highly motivated person to join a Grain merchant in Narrogin The company requires an experienced operator to manage its Narrogin facility in Southern WA. Applicants experienced in grain receival, storage, packing equipment, container handling and loader driving will be preferred.
Desirable skills - Minimum 2 years experience in a grain operational environment - Leadership and people management experience - Grain sampling and quality assessment - AG safe accreditation - Grain protection and fumigation skills - Licence - Forklift, front end loader, skid steer, heavy vehicle - Basic computer skills - Mechanical aptitude
Applicants should demonstrate good communication skills, be able to follow procedures, and work co-operatively in a team environment. Applicants must be prepared to commit to the harvest period and be prepared to work varied hours.
