A local Perth business is looking to expand their growing team and requires two part time Farm Show Assistants to showcase to visitors the processes and skills required to  assist with the preparation and running of a successful farm show. The positions on offer are part time permanent positions located in the City of Perth.
 
The successful applicant will need to be familiar with the handling/feeding of livestock as well as attending to their needs and wellbeing. Other duties are to periodically maintain infrastructure, equipment and props necessary for the smooth operation of the Show.

Overseer/Assistant Manager (Kalgoorlie) WA

General Farm Hand/Stockman (Kojonup) WA

A General Farm Hand/Stockman is required for an expanding business in Kojonup located approx 255km from Perth. Just three hours south of Perth, Kojonup sits nestled amongst Australia's South West, a rich pastoral district of farmland and bush. In Kojonup and its surrounds, you can explore the Australian rural way of life, from authentic Aboriginal bush tucker to world-renowned wines, from the early history of Western Australia to state-of-the-art farm production methods.

The position would require the successful applicant to shift, weigh, feed, muck out shelter and perform general maintenance as required. The essential skills that are being sort after is the ability to drive tractors/telehandlers and utes (must have drivers licence), patience with animals and willing to learn. Desirable skills is the ability to weld, concrete and perform general farm maintenance.

Cropping Manager (Moora, WA)

Seeking a Cropping Manager for a property at Moora, Moora is located 174kms from Perth in the Central Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. Candidates will be required oversee a large cropping programme including cereals, canola, hay and pasture seed crops, are required to have previous farming and cropping experience.
Essential Skills:
Successful applicants will require excellent organisational and communicational skills. The ability to work well in a team environment is essential. This role has the potential for growth and our business is committed to ongoing staff training and development.
Desirable Skills:
A good knowledge of modern farm machinery incorporating modern technology. An understanding of crop agronomy is desirable, but the willingness and capacity to learn and develop these skills will be a good substitute. Also good mechanical skills and understanding is desirable.

Carnamah   (WA)
Farm Machinery Operator
Family orientated man required to work on a large farming property at Carnamah. Carnamah is a small vibrant town only 3hours north of Perth with a good range of sporting activities with a school catering up to Year 12.
The job requires a person with enthusiasm, good communication skills, ability to work as part of a team during the peak periods, sound mechanical knowledge, H.R. truck license ( M.C. an advantage ) and some sheep handling ability.
The property is primarily grain growing with a self-replacing merino sheep flock. All the equipment is of a high standard with the latest technology gradually being introduced. The property is Q.A. and any training necessary will be provided. A 4-bedroom air-conditioned house that is provided is situated on the property only 10 kms from Carnamah.
