Experienced Farmhand
A permanent position has become available on a mixed farming property at Williams 160kms SE of Perth in Western Australia. The enterprise is corporate owned The position includes implementing a 3,000Ha mixed cropping program on a 11,000ha property between Boddington and Willams.
Whilst reporting to the Farm Manager and overseers you would be required to assist with all cropping procedures. Assistance with the livestock program maybe required when needed. The position is to commence ASAP.
Qualifications:
Have skills in machinery operations and maintenance.
Be self-motivated & able to work in a team environment with communication & organisational skills.
Competent in basic computing, numeral & literary skills.
Have an interest in & a desire to learn new trends in Animal & Plant production.
Hold a current driver’s licence - HC/MC-X an advantage.
General:
Maintain workshop cleanliness & care with tools
Maintenance/repairs to fences, windmills, pumps, roads, dams etc.
Operate workshop machinery with instruction when necessary
eg. Mig welder, oxy etc.
Reasonable level of fitness to safely complete required tasks.
Maintain activity records eg; seeding, fertilizer spreading and spraying.
Use and maintain correct safety equipment/procedures in mixing/suing of chemicals and drenches, operation of machinery and all other farm equipment.

Experienced Farmhand
An opportunity has become available for an experienced farmhand for a busy farm located approx 50kms East of Geraldton. The successful applicant will be required to have a HR licence and be able to operate tractors, air seeders and trucks plus harvest equipment. Boom spraying experience is an added advantage. The candidate must be willing to work 12 hour shifts if necessary with good communication skills. The position is to commence ASAP and become a permanent position.
The position would also require the applicant to complete other farm duties as required (fencing, welding, workshop duties etc.).

Airseeder Operators - Yorkrakine EA - 12015 |
Air Seeder Operators
An employer is seeking 2 experienced Tractor operators for a property at Yorkrakine, which is located 214kms North East of Perth in the Central Wheatbelt. Candidates will be required to operate large airseeders with GPS in the tractors for the seeding season. You would also be required to perform general farm maintenance and tractor maintenance when necessary. Expected start date April 25 through until early June..
If you had boom spray experience you could assist with boom spraying operating a 100ft Sonic boom spray for seeding.

A position for an experienced air seeder operator is available April 27, 2011 on a mixed farming property at Yelbeni (near Trayning) 220kms East of Perth. The successful candidate must have seeding experience and be capable of working unsupervised. the position will only go for about 5-6 weeks.
