Job Description

Our client, a progressive mixed farming operation located near Esperance, is seeking a Machinery Operator to join their team on a permanent basis. This role would suit someone with a good attitude, farming experience, some broadacre machinery experience and a desire to learn. Plenty of support is available from the experienced team already in place.

About the Role:

• General machinery operation: balers, rakes, mowers and broadacre machinery;
• Summer spraying and relief spraying (training can be provided);
• General farm duties supporting the cropping enterprise; 
• 50 hours/week, 7am–5pm, Monday to Friday;
• Additional hours/overtime available during busy periods.

About You:

• A background in farming essential;
• Some experience with broadacre machinery required (not entry-level);
• Willingness to learn, pick things up quickly, and show initiative;
• Process-minded and capable of working unsupervised;
• MC licence ideal, or a strong interest in obtaining one;
• Experience or interest in chemical handling/spraying a bonus;
• Positive attitude and team-focused mindset.
