About The Role:
- Machinery operation: air seeder, sprayer, harvester and spreader;
- General farm maintenance: fencing, firebreaks, water and infrastructure;
- Livestock handling: sheep husbandry and paddock rotation support;
- Spraying if competent, with post-emergent spraying done independently;
- 38 hours/week standard with some paid overtime during busy periods;
- 6-day weeks during seeding and harvest with Sunday off when possible;
- Opportunities for more hours depending on workload and weather.
About You:
- Previous mixed farming experience preferred, ideally 2+ years;
- Machinery operation skills essential; spraying knowledge desirable;
- Strong work ethic and responsibility – can be trusted unsupervised;
- Honest, asks questions, and fits well in a small, collaborative team;
- Willing to stay long-term (2+ years) and take on growing responsibility;
- C-class required; HR licence preferred; forklift ticket a bonus;
- Keen to be part of a rural community and local activities.
