About The Role:

  • Machinery operation: air seeder, sprayer, harvester and spreader;
  • General farm maintenance: fencing, firebreaks, water and infrastructure;
  • Livestock handling: sheep husbandry and paddock rotation support;
  • Spraying if competent, with post-emergent spraying done independently;
  • 38 hours/week standard with some paid overtime during busy periods;
  • 6-day weeks during seeding and harvest with Sunday off when possible;
  • Opportunities for more hours depending on workload and weather.

About You:

  • Previous mixed farming experience preferred, ideally 2+ years;
  • Machinery operation skills essential; spraying knowledge desirable;
  • Strong work ethic and responsibility – can be trusted unsupervised;
  • Honest, asks questions, and fits well in a small, collaborative team;
  • Willing to stay long-term (2+ years) and take on growing responsibility;
  • C-class required; HR licence preferred; forklift ticket a bonus; 
  • Keen to be part of a rural community and local activities.
