GENERAL FARMHAND – WAGIN, WA
Our client is a progressive, family-run mixed cropping and sheep enterprise located close to Wagin, WA, seeking a permanent General Farmhand to join their growing team. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a supportive, close-knit farming business where you’ll gain exposure to all areas of mixed farming and be offered plenty of responsibility and variety.

• 5,000Ha mixed cropping and sheep property;
• Family-run team of 4 with excellent facilities and modern machinery;
• Comfortable 4×1 air-conditioned house on farm, suitable for a couple;
• Start date: early February 2026;
• Stable, long-term opportunity with great variety in daily work.

Main Duties:

• Seeding, spreading, chaser bin operation, and general machinery work;
• Truck driving and machinery maintenance;
• Sheep husbandry, lamb marking, drenching, and mustering;
• Fencing, livestock monitoring, and general farm duties;
• Taking initiative and working independently across mixed operations.

About You:

• Positive attitude, sense of humour, and team player;
• Mechanical aptitude and practical approach to problem solving;
• Some mixed farming experience preferred – training provided for the right person;
• Stock handling experience desirable;
• C Class licence essential, HR preferred;
• Non-smoker preferred.
