Job Description

Machinery Operator required on a large family run farm located in Lake King, WA (470km south east of Perth) with a large cropping program. Plenty of work going through to harvest, spreading urea and post emergent spraying and general farm duties.  New accommodation and kitchen facilities; and food provided at harvest (breakfast, lunch and dinner).  Strictly non-smoking. Potential full time Farm Hand role for the right person.

About the role:

  • Starting now with the potential to stay on for harvest (Header or chaser work depending on experience);
  • Operating modern machinery including SP sprayer;
  • Fertilizer spreading;
  • General farm duties including machinery and farm maintenance;
  • $35-40 depending on experience

About you:

  • Must have a solid farming background;
  • Must have previous experience operating large broadacre machinery, including spraying experience
  • Able to work independently;
  • Strictly non-smoker.
