Job Description
Our client, a progressive broadacre enterprise near Ravensthorpe, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Farm Hand to join their growing team ahead of harvest. With a very large cropping program, modern machinery and strong family leadership, this is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical ability, seeding/harvest experience, and a passion for large-scale cropping. About The Role:
- Operate and maintain seeding, spraying, and harvest machinery with modern and well maintained machinery;
- Assist in managing seasonal programs with owners;
- MC licence preferred for sprayer relocation and grain carting;
- Seasonal hours vary: 38–40hrs/week off-peak;
- Ideal person to be in place by harvest.
About You:
- 5+ years broadacre or cropping experience;
- Strong mechanical aptitude;
- Experience with broadacre machinery;
- Spraying experience ideal, however willing to train the right person;
- MC/HC licence preferred;
- Team player, calm under pressure, takes initiative;
- Interested in future management responsibilities.
