Job Description

This is a permanent Machinery Operator role within a well‑established mixed farming business in WA’s Mid West. The position offers the opportunity to step into a key operational role with long‑term stability.

The successful applicant will work closely with experienced operators across the cropping program, with a strong focus on machinery operation and maintenance. While spraying is an important component of the role, full training and support will be provided to the right person. Livestock involvement is minimal and limited to short peak periods only.

This role suits someone looking to settle into a well‑run operation with good systems, quality equipment and a supportive, family‑based team.

About the Role:

  • Machinery operation across broadacre cropping programs;
  • Sprayer operation, with training provided;
  • Workshop duties including servicing, repairs and pre‑season preparation;
  • General farm duties as required during peak times;
  • Working alongside experienced operators in a close‑knit team.

About You:

  • Broadacre machinery experience essential;
  • Broadacre crop spraying experience highly regarded;
  • Mechanical aptitude and interest in workshop work;
  • Reliable, motivated and able to work unsupervised;
  • Good communication skills and strong work ethic;
  • Willing to learn new systems and farm practices;
  • Current car licence essential; HR/MC truck licence preferred (support available).
