An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Livestock Supervisor to join a well-established and expanding cattle operation in Western Australia’s Mid West.
Reporting directly to the Feedlot Manager, you will play a key role in overseeing daily livestock activities, coordinating cattle movements, supervising staff and ensuring compliance requirements are met across the operation.
This is a hands-on leadership role suited to someone who enjoys working with cattle, managing people and being actively involved in the day-to-day running of a livestock enterprise. The successful candidate will be responsible for livestock inductions, drafting programs, compliance reporting, staff supervision and assisting with the ongoing development of team members.
The business is currently undergoing significant growth and has several expansion projects planned over the coming years, making this an excellent opportunity for someone looking to establish themselves within a progressive agricultural business.

About The Role:

  • Supervise day-to-day livestock operations;
  • Coordinate cattle inductions and livestock movements;
  • Conduct and oversee cattle drafting programs;
  • Lead, train and mentor a team of livestock staff;
  • Maintain livestock records and compliance requirements;
  • Liaise with customers, agents and transport operators;
  • Assist with operational planning alongside the Feedlot Manager;
  • Ensure high standards of animal welfare, safety and production outcomes are maintained.

About You:

  • Strong cattle handling experience;
  • Strong cattle drafting skills;
  • Previous leadership or supervisory experience;
  • Understanding of livestock production systems;
  • Good communication and people management skills;
  • Able to work effectively within a multicultural team;
  • Organised and capable of managing changing priorities;
  • Competent computer skills;
  • Experience with NLIS, compliance systems, feedlot operations or livestock record keeping highly regarded;
  • Looking for a long-term opportunity within a growing business.
