Our candidate is a 19-year-old looking to build a long-term career in the agricultural industry. Having grown up on his grandparents’ WA cattle station running approximately 4,000 head, he brings practical experience in cattle handling, mustering, fencing, property maintenance and general station operations. He also has exposure to sheep work including mustering, drenching, drafting and rotational grazing. More recently he has worked in mechanical and fabrication roles, giving him useful workshop, welding and repair skills, however his preference is clearly to return to outdoor livestock-based work. He is willing to relocate anywhere in Western Australia and is seeking a livestock hand, station hand or general farm role with suitable accommodation for himself, his fiancée and young daughter. A genuine young candidate with a good attitude, realistic expectations and a strong interest in livestock, he presents as someone who could develop well with the right employer.
