20, South African with full rights to work in Australia, currently based on a large dairy operation. Available from late April through to the end of the year (possibly January only). Not seeking long term permanent work beyond this period. Looking to step away from the family dairy setup to gain more exposure on the machinery and cropping side of farming, including planting, harvest, and general farmhand work. Machinery experience to date is mainly dairy based (tractor work, feeding out, silage bale handling) with limited hands on cropping or seeding experience, but keen to learn. Best suited to seasonal, fixed term, or general farmhand roles where livestock skills are valued and machinery experience can be developed. Strong livestock background, having grown up on large scale dairy farms. Has also spent five months on a beef station/feedlot to gain broader cattle experience. Very comfortable around stock and mixed farm environments.

While limited in broadacre cropping, sheep and modern machinery experience, is keen to step away from full time dairy and broaden skills into mixed farming. Open to learning sheep and cropping, including seeding and seasonal work as a pathway to long term employment.. Is trusted to milk independently, administer treatments and carry out AI, including semen selection. Experience in lab work in the dairy genetics space, strong attention to detail, record keeping.

Has been consistently employed in contracting and farm work over the past 12–18 months, operating a range of tractors and ground‑preparation equipment and supporting maize, silage, and dairy operations such as power harrowing, disking, rolling, drilling support, carting silage and maize, feeding out, and general farm duties. Previous broad acre cropping experience includes chaser bin work. Brings basic mechanical aptitude from an incomplete mechanical apprenticeship and on‑farm servicing experience.
