24 non smoking New Zealand female from a farming background, planning to arrive in Australia around early April. Comes from a lifelong involvement in agriculture and has a strong interest in learning how Australian cattle systems operate. She is seeking a cattle focused role from April through to September, ideally on a cattle property or station, a role that offers learning and exposure. She is wanting to work alongside experienced operators, gain insight into decision making and broaden her understanding of Australian farming systems. Happy to stay on for harvest if the opportunity suits. Holds a Bachelor of Agricultural Science and has extensive hands on experience across dairy, sheep, and beef farming. Worked as a Block Manager on a progressive sheep and beef operation, following several years progressing from shepherd to stock manager. More recently completed six months on large mixed cattle and cropping farm in Canada.
