43, experienced Stock Person, strong sheep background, currently seeking a permanent livestock-focused role in the Great Southern region of Western Australia. Has lived in the region for over two decades and brings extensive hands on experience on Merino enterprises, including managing up to 6,000 ewe breeders and 1,000 stud rams. Available immediately. Spent close to nine years with one operator, largely responsible for the livestock side of the business, including scanning, mustering, shearing, crutching, vaccinating, feedlot management, drafting using Te Pari systems, coordinating stock transport and sales, and preparing and running annual ram sales. Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision and training casual staff when required. Cropping experience is present through seeding, chaser bin driving and general support work, with GPS and auto steer experience, though preference and confidence sit firmly with livestock.
