This well‑established mixed enterprise is seeking a Heavy Diesel Mechanic who can bring technical skill, initiative, and leadership to the workshop. You’ll work alongside the management team to ensure machinery and equipment are well maintained for efficient year‑round operations across cropping, livestock, and transport.
The business runs a diverse and modern fleet and offers excellent facilities, including dedicated workshop spaces for machinery repairs and metal fabrication. This role suits someone who enjoys variety, autonomy, and the opportunity to shape how the workshop operates into the future.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

  • Work collaboratively with the management team to support daily operations
  • Carry out servicing, repairs, and preventative maintenance across all machinery
  • Manage workshop workflow, spare parts, and maintenance planning
  • Assist in shaping workshop processes and contributing to continuous improvement

ABOUT YOU:

  • Trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanics (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience with agricultural machinery in broadacre environments
  • Confidence to lead, take responsibility, and contribute to business direction
  • A positive attitude and willingness to learn, grow, and develop new skills
  • A clear sense of career direction for the next five years
