This fantastic employer is a progressive, family-owned broadacre cropping business near Esperance, and is seeking an experienced Farm Operations Manager to join thire team. This role suits an experienced Farm Operations Manager or a strong step-up candidate who can demonstrate leadership potential, a proactive mindset and genuine interest in ongoing development.

About the Role:

  • Lead and coordinate farm operations to ensure priorities are delivered safely, on time and within budget;
  • Build and maintain high-trust, team culture;
  • Train and mentor the team;
  • Delegate daily duties and allocate labour/resources;
  • Drive continuous improvement;
  • Coordinate maintenance planning and workshop priorities;
  • Report operational progress to owners;
  • Operate machinery to a high standard as and when required.

About You:

  • Experience in a similar leadership role in broadacre farming, or proven readiness to step up;
  • Strong planning and reporting capability;
  • Demonstrated leadership;
  • Confident communicator;
  • Mechanical aptitude; 
  • Strong commitment to safe work practices and leading by example 
  • Manual driver’s licence essential;
  • Non-smoking.
