This role presents an excellent opportunity to join a modern, high‑production broadacre cropping enterprise near Moora, WA. The business is fully focused on cropping and requires a capable, motivated Senior Farm Hand who can operate independently and contribute to consistent, high‑quality farm operations.  The role replaces a former full‑time employee and will reduce reliance on seasonal labour. You will work closely with the farm owner and be heavily involved in all cropping operations including seeding, spraying, harvest, general maintenance, and daily decision‑making.

This position suits someone who is experienced, dependable, practical, and ready to play a key role in the farm’s long‑term success.

About the Role:

  • Operate air seeders, tractors, harvesters and other broadacre equipment;
  • Assist with spraying (training provided for those with some experience);
  • Perform routine maintenance and basic repairs;
  • Ability to work independently when the owner is off‑farm.

About You:

  • Broadacre machinery experience (Australian experience preferred);
  • Competent operating seeders, tractors and headers;
  • Some spraying experience (or willingness to learn;)
  • Mechanically minded and confident with maintenance;
  • HR licence (or willingness to obtain);
  • Honest, reliable, practical and proactive;
  • Ability to work independently when the owner is off‑farm;
  • Show initiative and adapt priorities based on seasonal requirements;
  • Confident working independently and making sound decisions;
  • Good communicator with a positive, can‑do approach;
  • Sense of humour appreciated.
