Fantastic opportunity for a Stock Person to join our client’s modern and impressive mixed enterprise with both cropping and sheep. The role is open to those looking for short term and long term opportunities.
The role will be tailored to the right candidate’s strengths and skills, mainly focusing on stock work in their sheep feedlot. Would suit a person with sheep husbandry skill and knowledge. Great location close Albany on the south coast of Western Australia.
 
ABOUT THE ROLE:

• Daily operations within the sheep feedlot;
• Regular stock movements and scheduled weighing;
• Loading sheep as needed;
• Routine husbandry tasks including drenching, tailing, ear‑tagging, and crutching;
• Feeding silage;
• General feedlot maintenance and some fencing;
• Weekend work as required for livestock tasks.

ABOUT YOU:

• Sheep husbandry knowledge and experience;
• Ability to work independently and confidently with livestock;
• Genuine interest in farming and animal welfare;
• Basic machinery operating ability;
• Basic mechanical aptitude (desirable).
