Our candidate is a 33-year-old non-smoker seeking to progress from a senior farmhand position into a 2IC or farm management pathway. Currently employed on a mixed sheep and cropping operation, he brings strong broadacre experience across spraying, spreading, seeding, harvest, livestock and day-to-day farm operations. This season alone he has managed approximately 24,000 hectares of spraying and spreading and is highly capable with modern John Deere machinery and John Deere Operations Centre. He is looking for greater responsibility, staff leadership opportunities and increased involvement in planning and decision-making while remaining hands-on with machinery. Currently earning $40/hour with accommodation provided. He has a strong preference for opportunities within the Esperance, Goldfields and Great Southern regions and would suit progressive family farms or corporate businesses looking to develop future management capability within their operation.
