Cook/Housekeeper, Lake King, WA (REF: 487974)

A Cook/Housekeeper is required on cropping property for the seeding season commencing early April to mid-late June in Lake King, Western Australia (4.5 hours south-east of Perth). You will be required to assist with cooking for up to 3 people - packed lunches and dinners.  You must have housekeeping and cooking abilities and a current manual driver’s license. You will be working between 4-6 hours per day and 7 days during the busy period, and 6 days when quieter. Day rate paid, accommodation, and food provided.  The farmer also cooks once a week so you can have a day off, and you will still get paid!

About the role:

• Meals - cooking for up to 3-4 people - You will be in charge of setting the menu;
• Prepping packed lunch for workers to take 
• Cooking dinner each night
• Ensuring breakfast supplies are stocked
• Laundry duties - washing, ironing;
• House keeping - dishes, floors, bringing wood in for the fireplace;
• Shopping - planning meals for the week, and driving to Lake Grace once a week to do shopping.

About you:

• Enjoy cooking wholesome food for the team – e.g. soups, toasties, wraps, etc for lunches, and home cooked meals for dinner;
• Baking skills a bonus;
• Good housekeeping skills;
• Manual driver’s license;
• Smokers OK.

What's on Offer:

• Daily rate paid: $190 - hours vary, but usually from 4-6 hours per day, depending on the workload - same day rate paid regardless;
• All food supplied;
• Accommodation supplied;
• Work vehicle available.
