Sprayer Operator, Kalannie WA (REF: 488940)

Our client is looking for an experienced Sprayer Operator/Leading Hand to oversee their 25,000Ha cropping program located only 3 hours north of Perth. The right candidate will have minimum of 2 years broad acre cropping/spraying experience and be responsible for all day-to-day coordination, implementation, and management of spraying program. This is a family run modern grain growing enterprise that offer the latest farming processes & systems with an excellent track record when it comes to progressive farming.

About the Role:

• Operating the most up to date John Deere machinery including self propelled and trailed sprayers;
• You will be required to consult with agronomists;
• Assist with planning cropping rotations; 
• Machinery maintenance;
• Farm duties as required;
• Managing seasonal staff; 

About You:

• Previous experience in a cropping environment with skills in operating self-propelled and trailed sprayers;
• HR truck license (desirable);
• Chem cert (desirable);
• Highly organised, motivated and ambitious;
• Excellent communication skills;
• Mechanical aptitude;
