General Farm Hand, Busselton WA (REF: 526621)

Our client is looking for an experienced General Farm Hand to join their team. Located in the picturesque Busselton/Margaret River area running cattle. The suitable applicant will have some farm hand experience and be capable of carrying out many different duties from driving tractors to manual labour in the vineyard to working with the cattle. Good Things to know:

• Approx. 1,300 acres running cattle (280 cows and calves) in the Busselton-Margaret River area;
• 50% Cattle work / 50% Vineyard operations
• Family owned and operated enterprise;
• Opportunity for training and progression.

About the Role:

• Flexible start date;
• To complete a wide range of jobs on our cattle and vineyard operation;
• Tractor Operation;
• Hay cutting;
• Animal husbandry, feedling & paddock rotation;
• Fencing and other general farm hand duties;
• Vinyard Operations: Assisting with spraying grapes, some manual labour;
• Size of team: 2-3.

About you:

• Must be experienced with tractor operation;
• Ability to work in a small team;
• The worker must also be responsibly fit and healthy and perform some tasks unassisted;
• Honest and reliable - knows when to report issues with gear etc;
• Manual C Class Drivers license;
• Livestock experience preferred;
• ChemCert desirable.

• Hourly rate: $35 per hour;
