Farm Mechanic, Gnowellen WA (REF: 531367)

This is a job posting for a Farm Mechanic role. The farm is located in the beautiful Albany and Bremer Bay area in the Great Southern region of Western Australia, which is known for its stunning beaches, national parks, and idyllic coastal communities.

Please note that the job posting is for a Farm Mechanic, not a Farm Machinery Operator. However, if you are a qualified Mechanic with experience in operating farm machinery, you may be a good fit for the role.
 
 
Farm Operations:

• Cropping: 3,000Ha cropping program
• Stock: 400 cattle and 1,000 sheep
• Trucks: Scania R620 and Freightliner
• GPS/Auto Steer: Trimble and Agleader
• Machinery includes: Challenger MT865, New Holland T8030 and T6.165, Volvo Loader L60E, Multistream (seeder), Bourgalt (seeder), Nitro 5333, New Holland CR10.90 and CR8090 headers

Main Duties:

• Repair and Maintenance of farm equipment and machinery
• Running the farm workshop
• Assisting with cropping operations when needed
• Other duties required with day to day running of the property

Essential Requirements:

• Mechanic qualification
• General farming knowledge
• Attention to detail
• Able to work well within a team with an honest and easy-going personality
• Self-starter with a positive attitude
