Experienced Senior Farm Hand required on a mixed property located just 2 hours North of Perth. Ideally looking for someone with experience in spraying and operating air seeder. Great location and opportunity to join a great community with access to shopping centre, primary and secondary schools, sporting facilities etc. The town of Moora is central to several coastal towns such as Jurien, Lancelin and Cervantes.

About the Role:

• SP Boom Spray operator
• Air Seeder operator
• Working closely with the Farm Owner, to ensure the effective, productive and efficient running of the mixed enterprise
• Operate all modern equipment relative to a mixed farming enterprise as and when required
• Supervision of casual staff
• A focus of maintaining and improving infrastructure as required

About You:

• Proven track record as a seasoned Farm Hand within a broadacre cropping enterprise
• Experienced SP Boom Spray and Air Seeeder operator
• The ability to communicate effectively and promote a positive team environment
• Competent machine operator varying across a wide range of farming equipment
• Ability to maintain tractors, front end loaders, motorbikes, as well as building maintenance and fencing
• Non-smoker (preferred)
• HR driver’s licence preferred, or ability to obtain
• Chemcert desirable

Desirable skills:

• Mechanical and welding experience desirable.
