Spray Operator, Corrigin WA (REF: 572349)

Spray Operator required for a great client of ours based in Corrigin, WA (230kms east of Perth) with a 5,000Ha cropping program. A well- respected farmer and great employer!  Starting mid - late March until mid- June you’ll be the main spray operator for the season. Modern John Deere and Case machinery with GPS/autosteer.  Someone with boom spray experience would be ideal, but if you have previous experience mixing chemicals, spray experience and have operated large machinery then farmer willing to train on boom spray.  Accommodation provided.

About the role:

• Starting mid - late March until mid-June;
• Spraying: Operating either a John Deere 4045 and or 616 boom sprayer.

About you:

• Farming background and large machinery experience required;
• Preferably someone with spraying experience;
• Previous experience mixing chemicals;
• Willing to operate GPS guidance;
• Able to work as part of a team;
• Reliable and hard-working;
• Current drivers licence with own vehicle;
• Strictly no smoking on the property.

What is on offer:

• Hourly rate: $35+, depending on experience;
• Hours: 40 - 50 hours per week (5 days per week) pre-seeding and 12 hours per day (13 day fortnight) during seeding;
• Accommodation: Donga style with own ensuite;
• Dinner provided during seeding season.
