Cook/Housekeeper, Newdegate WA (REF: 577498)

Our client, a large family-owned farm in Newdegate, WA (400km south-east of Perth) are looking for a Cook/Housekeeper to join their seeding team.  This is a lovely employer and you will be well looked after.  Starting mid-April until mid-June, you’ll be cooking for 7 people, assisting with housekeeping and general farm duties if desired.  Accommodation and work vehicle included.

About the role:

• Starting mid-April until mid-June;
• Cooking for 7 people;
• Preparing healthy and hearty lunches and dinners;
• Delivering meals to the staff;
• Meal planning;
• Budgeting for the weekly shops;
• Assist with other farm and household duties including cleaning, gardening, machinery cleaning or some general farm jobs if desired.

About you:

• Cooking, meal planning and budgeting experience;
• Good housekeeping skills;
• Manual driver’s license;
• Love living and working on a farm;
• Friendly positive team player.

What's on offer:

• Hourly rate: $30, depending on experience;
• Hours: 8 hours per day; 6-7 days a week;
• Accommodation: single donga with shared areas;
• Meals provided;
• Access to a shared work vehicle for shopping.
