Air Seeder Operator, Coorow WA (REF: 577848)

A fantastic opportunity for an Air Seeder Operator working for a lovely farming family who run a 6,500Ha cropping property located in Coorow, WA (3 hours north of Perth).  Commencing after Easter through until the end of June you will be operating the air seeder as well as helping out with spraying and spreading after seeding with the option to stay on longer. Prefer those with seeding experience however farmer is willing to train.   Broadacre machinery experience preferred.  Accommodation provided and is suitable for a single or couple.  Meals may be provided depending on hours.  Non-smoker preferred.
 
Machinery:

• STX 550 & 450 CASE Tractors;
• 8295R John Deere Tractor;
• 45ft Seedhawk bar;
• SPX 4430 & 4260 CASE sprayer;
• Marshall multi spreader;
• Valma boom spreader;
• Topcon, Greenstar and Trimble;

Skills/Experience Required:

• Prefer those with broad acre machinery experience;
• Must be interested and willing to learn;
• Must be fit and capable of working long hours;
• Must have minimum ‘C’ class drivers’ license;
• Work well within a team environment as well as independently;
• Non smoker preferred;

What’s on offer:

• Hourly rate of $33+ depending on experience;
• 12 hours a day, 6 days per week;
• Some meals provided during busy periods;
• Shared 3 x 1 house with air conditioning;
• Vehicle provided for work use (provide own vehicle for personal use);
• Will consider couples.
