Sprayer Operator/Manager, Tammin WA (REF: 617854)

Our client, a family-owned business, is looking for a Sprayer Manager on a mixed property, focusing on the 12,000Ha cropping program only.  Just two hours from Perth, this is an exciting opportunity for someone with previous broadacre spraying experience.

About the role:

• This is a full time position;
• The farm has a 12,000Ha cropping program of wheat, barley, lupins, peas, oats and canola; 
• This role is for spraying and other machinery or cropping related work such as operating harvesters, deep rippers, spreading;
• No requirement for sheep work;
• Inspecting paddocks for weeds and timing;
• Working with the Agronomist;
• Machinery: All new modern TBH sprayers with John Deere 8R series tractors;
• Just two hours to Perth.

About You:

• Must have previous broad acre spraying experience (preferably 3+ years);
• Fully trained with mixing chemicals, rates, weed familiarity etc.; 
• Must have the minimum required spray experienced to be considered;
• MC license preferred (opportunity to upgrade).

What's on offer:

• Pay: $36 - $45 per hour + (depending on experience);
• Typically 40hr weeks during non seasonal periods and higher hours during peek periods;
• All overtime paid and at flat rate. Opportunity to earn big hours if you desire;
• Work ute provided;
• Choice of houses available; 
• Cropping and spray workshops and development;
• Primary school close by with bus service;
• High schools in Cunderdin and Kellerberrin (bus for both towns).
