Our client is seeking a Senior Experienced Farm Hand to join their mixed farming enterprise in the Williams/Boddington region. This is a small, owner-operated business where the successful candidate will work closely with the owner and take on a high level of responsibility across day-to-day operations.
The property runs approximately 10,000 sheep alongside a 350ha oat cropping program. The role has a strong livestock focus and would suit someone confident working with sheep and managing tasks without constant direction.
This is a key position within the business, described by the client as “almost a working manager” role, where the right person will help keep operations running smoothly, particularly when the owner is off-farm.

About the Role:
- All aspects of sheep husbandry and stock management;
- Mustering, yard work and feeding;
- Monitoring stock condition and animal welfare;
- Operating air seeder during seeding program (oats);
- Supporting general farm operations throughout the year;
- Fencing and property maintenance;
- Workshop duties including servicing and basic maintenance;
- Working independently and assisting with day-to-day decision making.
About You:
- Extensive sheep experience is essential;
- Capable of working autonomously and identifying priorities;
- Confident with yard work, handling stock and feeding programs;
- Experience operating an air seeder or similar machinery;
- Basic mechanical skills (servicing, oils, filters etc.);
- Comfortable working in a small team environment;
- Manual driver’s licence required (HR licence advantageous).
