The property runs approximately 10,000 sheep alongside a 350ha oat cropping program. The role has a strong livestock focus and would suit someone confident working with sheep and managing tasks without constant direction.
This is a key position within the business, described by the client as “almost a working manager” role, where the right person will help keep operations running smoothly, particularly when the owner is off-farm.

  • Internet via NBN Sky Muster;
  • Located approx. 30km from Williams/Boddington with full town facilities available;
  • Preferably non-smoking;
  • Suitable accommodation for a single, couple or small family;
  • School bus available from front gate;
  • Sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

About the Role:

  • All aspects of sheep husbandry and stock management;
  • Mustering, yard work and feeding;
  • Monitoring stock condition and animal welfare;
  • Operating air seeder during seeding program (oats);
  • Supporting general farm operations throughout the year;
  • Fencing and property maintenance;
  • Workshop duties including servicing and basic maintenance;
  • Working independently and assisting with day-to-day decision making.

About You:

  • Extensive sheep experience is essential;
  • Capable of working autonomously and identifying priorities;
  • Confident with yard work, handling stock and feeding programs;
  • Experience operating an air seeder or similar machinery;
  • Basic mechanical skills (servicing, oils, filters etc.);
  • Comfortable working in a small team environment;
  • Manual driver’s licence required (HR licence advantageous).

What’s on Offer:

  • Salary: Approx. $85,000 per annum (flexible for the right candidate);
  • Accommodation: On-farm house (2–3 bedrooms plus sleep-out), recently renovated, well presented with garden;
  • Electricity included (gas excluded);
  • Work vehicle available (conditions to be discussed);
  • Meat supplied;
  • Permanent, long-term opportunity with a stable operation.
