Not every farm is looking for someone to simply operate machinery.
Our client is looking for people who want to build a career in agriculture.
Located near Dalwallinu, this progressive 8,300ha cropping operation is seeking two permanent team members to join the business from January 2027. The farm is operated by a young management team that takes pride in developing good people and providing exposure well beyond machinery operation. 

Rather than focusing solely on specific machinery experience, the emphasis is on finding capable, motivated individuals who are keen to learn, take ownership and continue developing within the industry.

The successful applicants will become involved in all aspects of the farming operation while gaining valuable exposure to crop planning, agronomy and farm management decision-making processes.

About the Role:

• Self-propelled spraying;
• Spreading operations;
• Seeding and planting;
• Harvest operations;
• Machinery maintenance and repairs;
• General farm duties;
• Crop monitoring and scouting.

About You :

• Previous agricultural experience;
• Exposure to broadacre cropping operations;
• Good mechanical aptitude;
• Strong work ethic and positive attitude;
• Ability to work independently and within a team;
• Willingness to learn and develop new skills;
• Interest in progressing within the agricultural industry.

Applicants do not necessarily need experience on identical machinery. Previous spraying experience is advantageous but not essential, with training available for the right person.
